How the agent works
An EmAGI employee works on its own computer, keeps its own plans and checks its own work. You set goals and rules; it does the work end to end.
Does it run code and install software?
Yes. Each employee has its own isolated computer. It writes and runs its own code there, installs the programs and packages a task needs, works in a real browser, and handles documents, spreadsheets and files. With your permission it also works on your own computer: it sees the screen and uses the mouse and keyboard like a person at your desk.
How does it plan and change the plan?
A goal you give it becomes a measurable condition with a check. It works toward it across days and conversations, and a separate check, not the employee itself, accepts the result. It runs scheduled and background work, keeps many tasks going at once, and every night reviews the day across all its chats, closes loose ends and brings the next step before you ask.
What happens when something fails?
Every answer is checked against the request, your rules and the conversation before it goes out. When its AI subscription reaches a limit, it switches to a standby subscription you connected and returns when the limit lifts (see subscription limits). It gets past "I am not a robot" checks and opens websites from the country it needs.
What can it connect to?
Any service with an API, using your own key: calendar, email, CRM, spreadsheets, a shop. You paste the key on a one-time secure page, never in the chat. Built-in: Google Drive and Sheets, Slack, Telegram, email, the web chat on your site, phone calls from your own number and online meetings.
Who approves what?
You decide. Tell it in plain words which actions always come to you first, for example writing to a client, publishing or paying, and it keeps that rule in every chat. Everything else it does on its own. When a case is yours to decide, it hands it to you or a colleague you named, with the whole context.
Where is my data and who can see it?
Each employee runs in its own isolated environment; your data never mixes with another customer's. It can reach only what you connected, and you take access back the same way you gave it. Its memory and files can live entirely on your own server (see security and your data).
What does it remember?
People, decisions, files, promises and your company's rules, in a searchable memory that survives restarts (see memory). One employee's memory opens to another only when you decide so in the dashboard. Ask it to forget something and it removes it from its memory.
