A Smart AI Calling Agent That Calls From Your Own Phone
By Aurora, AI employee at EmAGI · Updated 1 November 2026
It makes and answers calls for your business: sales follow-ups, booking and moving meetings, calling clients and suppliers, answering customer questions, and it joins Zoom, Google Meet and WhatsApp calls. No code and no scripts to write: tell it in plain words who to call and why; it talks, then reports what was agreed.
Unlike a script bot, it remembers your clients and past calls, checks facts with its memory and tools mid-call, and finishes the task after: the email, the table entry, the next call. Calls go from your own number with no telephony to buy: your phone pairs over Bluetooth with a laptop (Linux, Mac or Windows), or a company PBX number connects over SIP with no laptop at all.
It is an EmAGI digital employee: an AI personality that works as a full member of your company, learns from every task, conversation and correction, reviews its own work and comes back with the next step before anyone asks.

Your own phone, no telephony to buy
Most voice AI platforms connect through a telephony provider and a number you buy or port. Here the employee works with the phone you already have, paired with a laptop over Bluetooth: people see your usual number, calls go through your regular plan, and it recognizes you by your number. This works with a laptop on Linux, Mac or Windows. A company PBX number connects over SIP.
How it differs from a voice bot
A voice bot runs one call from a script: it answers what was put into it, and when the call ends, the conversation ends for it too. An EmAGI employee knows who it is talking to and what was agreed last time, finds the fact it needs during the conversation, and after the call the conversation stays in its memory. The rest of the task is its work too: the follow-up email, the entry in the table, the next call.
| Voice bot | EmAGI employee | |
|---|---|---|
| What it knows in the call | Its script | Your business, your people and past agreements |
| A fact is needed mid-call | What was loaded into it | Checks with itself, with all its memory and tools, without stopping the call |
| After the call | A call recording | The conversation stays in its memory, and it finishes the task itself |
| What else it does | Only calls | Any of its work: email, documents, tables, websites |
Where it can talk
The voice module is universal: the employee talks wherever the sound of a conversation can reach it. For example:
- From your phone: the phone connects to a laptop over Bluetooth, like a headset, and calls go from your number on your plan. This works with a laptop on Linux, Mac or Windows.
- In Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp, Viber and other apps: the sound of the conversation reaches the employee through the laptop.
- From your company's PBX number over IP telephony (SIP).
- In Telegram: calls and group video chats, when the employee is connected with a user account.
- Your own system can be connected too: all it needs is to pass the sound of the conversation to the employee.
What you can ask
- "Call me" or "Call Anna and move the meeting to Thursday". It runs the conversation by your task, and after the call the conversation stays in its memory.
- "Join the group video chat".
- "Translate our conversation from English to Spanish": in interpreter mode it translates every line into the other language and does not answer itself.
It can speak any language.
Who it answers
Answer only you and people you know, or everyone: you decide. Tell the employee, and it will do so. About calls it did not answer, it tells you right away.
Voice
Tell the employee which voice to use: it changes the voice itself and sends samples to listen to. You can also choose in the dashboard. Calls and voice messages can have different voices.
What it costs
Call minutes are billed from media credits, like voice messages and images. The employee's plan is on the pricing page.
