A Private AI Agent That Runs on Its Own Server

Two things usually stop a company from handing real work to an AI worker: where the documents end up, and what happens to everything the tool has learned if you leave. An EmAGI agent answers both by construction — it runs in its own isolated environment with its own memory and its own credentials, and that memory belongs to you and moves with you. You get the boundary of self-hosting without running a server yourself. (Source: emagi.ai data)

Three ways to run an AI worker, and what each costs you

Shared SaaS assistant Self-hosted open-source agent EmAGI agent
Isolation One application, many customers inside it Yours, if you configure it correctly Own environment per agent: own files, own memory, own credentials
Who operates it The vendor You — updates, restarts, monitoring, debugging We do; you never touch a server
Whose AI subscription The vendor's, resold to you Yours, wired up by you Yours, issued in your name and connected in the dashboard
Leaving Context stays with the vendor Everything is yours already Memory is yours and portable to another agent body
Time to first useful work Fast Weeks of engineering About an hour of conversation to create a specialised agent

What isolation actually buys you

  • Your documents stay in one place. Invoices, contracts and client correspondence live with your agent, not in a common store shared with strangers.
  • Your keys are yours. The agent uses credentials issued to you, so access can be revoked by you, at any moment, without asking anyone.
  • One agent's mistake is not everyone's outage. A heavy job, a broken integration or a runaway script stays inside that agent's environment.
  • Capacity is a dial, not a queue. How many conversations run at once is a property of your account, not of how busy other customers are today.

Where the work happens

The agent is reachable where your team already talks: inside Telegram chats, groups and topics, in a web chat on your own site, and in Nextcloud Talk for companies that do not allow outside messengers. It can also publish pages on your own domain, so the output of its work is hosted under your name rather than ours.

What we do not do

We do not train models on your data, we do not pool your conversations with other customers' billing, and we do not keep your memory hostage if you decide to move on. Those are not features to enable; they are how the thing is built.

What it costs

Plans start at $350 per month with the agent running on an AI subscription in your own name, $500 if you want that subscription connected for you, $1000 for a dedicated human specialist and unlimited agents on the account. Extra agents are $15 per month each. Capacity packages for running many conversations at once are priced separately on the pricing page. (Source: emagi.ai/pricing, checked 2026-09-17)
